Permaculture Design Course by Daniel Halsey
From 5th until 16th November Daniel Halsey will give an advanced permaculture and ecosystem design course in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Daniel is a renowned designer of ecological landscapes and a gifted teacher. He has been involved with Ecosystem Restoration Camps since the very beginning. He co-designed the restoration plan for our first Ecosystem Restoration Camp Altiplano in Spain.
Our Dutch partner-organisation The Plant has invited Daniel Halsey to come to the Netherlands, together with co-designers Regina Cobo-Quintas and Sara Garcia. They offer this certified course, aimed at landscapers, (landscape) architects, homesteaders, ecological designers, teachers, resource engineers, homeowners or students of these disciplines who want to deepen their knowledge of the design-process for professional ecological restoration.
The course is composed of two separate modules of 5 days each: the module “Advanced Permaculture Design” (5-9 November) and another module “Professional Practices” (12-16 November). Both modules can be taken as separate courses, or as a full course with a discount. During the course Daniel will also go into the design process of Ecosystem Restoration Camp Altiplano in Spain. He will use these experiences as examples of restoration practice.
